Chalk Night
When was the last time you drew with chalk?
And I don't mean your kids.
YOU.
Me? It's been awhile.
So....I decided to pull them out and leave some love notes for my Hubby.
I was surprised at how easily entertained I was.
I love chalk!
I thought it would be fun for Hubby to come home to a different kind of "welcome".
I wrote on everything. The sidewalk, the stairs, the railing and even our parking spot.
No missing these love notes!
Try it!
Chalk costs close to nothing and if you already have some, this is totally FREE!
Leave a sweet message for your Hubby or make a date night of it!
Have a "chalk-off" or something. Get creative!
Happy Dating!

Toilet Paper Love
I love leaving little notes for Hubby. Sometimes I get bored with a pen and paper though.
But now I have a new alternative!
He will know I love him even at times when he needs to use this :)
If you want to learn how to make origami toilet paper hearts, click HERE for a video tutorial.
Try it! It will definitely put a smile on his face!

Love Notes on the Mirror
The other day I walked into the bathroom and saw this on my mirror.
Too sweet right?
Little love notes like this don't cost a cent and can bring a smile to your loved one's face.
It sure made my day!
Write your spouse a little note with something you like about them and put it where they will be sure to see it. The mirror, their pillow, the refrigerator....anywhere!
Go do it. Now!
Then kick back and wait for the smiles to roll in.

Love Notes in the Snow
We finally got some snow! And it's great for making love notes for my Hubby.
I had some dying roses from Valentines Day so I used the petals to make my heart with our initials a little more romantic.
You can make all sorts of fun things for each other in the snow! And it's all 100% free!
- Hearts with initials
- Love notes on the windshield
- Snowmen holding love notes
- Snow Angels
- Simply write a love note
You get the idea. Add some petals if you have them, but they are fine without too.
Do you have any snow? Write a sweet little reminder to your Hubby of how much you love him!
Happy Dating!

How creative is this? Rolos and Hershey's Kisses!
I just love this! Too bad we don't have any snow. :(

Calendar of Dates
For Christmas, Hubby gave me this beautiful calendar of France.
While admiring the beautiful pictures, I noticed this little note from him.
Don't worry, I have a REALLY hard time reading his writing too.
It says "Look inside for the month of January..."
And what do you think I found?
Dates!
Dates planned ahead of time and by Hubby instead of me!!
This is wonderful present indeed!
I am so excited!
I can't wait to share the next month of dates with all of you.
Try giving this gift for Christmas next year, or maybe a birthday. Its SO GREAT!
The only thing that could make it better would be dates to go see the locations in each of the photos......hmmm.....maybe if we ever get some money.
Happy Dating!

LSAT Series: Pencil Messages
He's off!
The LSAT is TODAY! Hubby is taking his test as I write.
I had no idea how strict the rules are concerning this thing. Test takers are only allowed to take a few things into the testing center and they must be in a zip lock bag. That means no notes from wives.
Lame.
However, I got creative and found a way to leave some words of encouragement anyway.
Say hello to my pencil messages! Clever right? I thought so.
I grabbed some of Hubby's trusty No. 2 pencils and wrote some good luck messages.
Then I put them in his zip lock bag, all ready for the test. I may have to do this again. It was fun!
Phew!

LAST Series: Just Because
How do you and your spouse show appreciation for each other? Every once in awhile I like to do something like this for Hubby.
And I think he likes it...
We had some leftover candy from Halloween. Mostly Dum-Dums, which I am not a fan of.
Hubby loves them on the other hand so I decided to leave little surprises for him in his coat pockets.
Who doesn't love finding an unexpected treat in their pocket?
Give it a try! Do something sweet for your spouse "Just Because"!!

Love Notes on the Car
Remember when you and your spouse were still dating? Did you leave each other notes? Because we did! And I loved them! I have saved a few of them too.
Why should they stop once you get married? I love the thrill of leaving a note or finding one from hubby. It makes my day (and his).
Hubby had a test at school today so I stuck a little note on the car before he left. He really liked it.
How about you? When was the last time you left your spouse a little note saying "I Love You!"?
Do it now! The more notes you leave, the more likely he is to return the favor.
P.S. It's free! I love giving gifts that show him I love him. When they are free its even better. Score!
